Hi we are considering a stay here at the end of our winter trip to California. One thing I have read is that its 1400ft above sea level. Will it be cold there at the end of February? This winter we are booked into Desert Hot Springs (The Sands), I know its windy in DHS so I almost think its an even trade. We have stayed in many of the parks in the Coachella Valley so we are familiar with the parks there. Our coach is 36ft long and we tow a Jeep.
I read there are many many snowbirds in GVP so it must be pretty good. I am having trouble finding info on the sites in the park tpp.
Cheers

IMHO Golden Village is a great park but if you are staying for more than a few days they will make you get a back in. You want a pull thru. The back ins are wide but only about 32' long. The back of your rig will be in the hedge and the front will be at or on the road. Lots do this but its just too tight for me. Once you are in....its a great place.....great facilities....walking distance to stores....places to eat etc.
