We stayed in MD at Greenbrier SP, took the toad to Harper's Ferry. Spent about a day and a half visiting the area. Much history in the area!

To answer 2 questions at once lol. Yes they do have a ghost tour in the evening. As far as how long it takes to see Harpers Ferry (Historical Town) depend on how much you are into Civil War history, plus the shops, etc. Good Luck and hHappy Camping !!

We plan to go to Harpers Ferry in August. We have never been there, Should we plan on just one day or longer. From there we are going on to Shanksville, Pa.

When up that way we stay at the KOA. As far as Eats... there is a Diner not to far from the Charlestown Racetrack / Casino that has great food !! Good Luck and Happy Camping !!!
