Having trouble selling a CG membership

We recently bought a new Thousand Trails membership (top of the line, pre-owned). Have been trying to sell our existing membership in a CG network (not TT) for a few months and have only had 3-4 inquiries, then nothing heard back.

Have been advertising on a number of CL sites and one of the CG resale sites. Is it more due to the time of year or are there some other possibilities for advertising it?

Price it right and it will sell.
That's what we're trying. Everything sells at the right price, so they say. Have checked the competition out there and have listed at a deeply discounted price. Have only had 3-4 inquiries and you'd think if someone really wanted a membership, they'd make an offer but no such thing yet. We've got a couple of good features that most of the memberships won't as well.

We're hoping it's just the wrong time of year and interest will come around when the camping season starts again. Funny thing is, when we're at the home park, we see potential buyers being whisked around the property in golf carts all the time and you've gotta know they're paying big bucks for a membership. If we knew then what we know now, we'd have bought a pre-owned membership back then and saved a bundle.

We let ours go years ago; kept changing owners and what CG's we could use. Never got new contracts from the new owners. Finally some judge out west some sent a form notice about being in arrears on dues. Just ignored it since we had never gotten a contract.

When my father no longer was getting his annual dues back he ended up just terminating it according to contract as he couldn't sell it. My MIL did the same thing with a timeshare. The deals on new ones sound better and the salespeople play for the prepaid used ones as possible scams.
