Thanks, I didn't think there was much in that area.I think we will stay at Paul B Johnson State park south of Hattiesburg. It is real nice, we were trying to get a little closer to Destin. Thanks for your help.

We have stayed there and we think it good for an overnight. We did stay hitched. There is nowhere to drive to!

We stayed there also, not much to speak of. Don't go that way any more as we now use US 84 between FL and TX.

The only quick, stop and stay hitched spot on Hwy 98 between Lucedale and Mobile would be the Semmes, AL Walmart. I know that is not the best option for most, but it sounds like you just need a quick stop and sleep. I see RV's and trucks there regularly, but I would ask before I did it to be sure. It is a safe place that has a paid security patrol service. The only other option would be the Escatawpa Hollow Campground at the AL/MS line, but I don't think you could stay hitched. I believe there are a few "pull-thru" spots here and there but most are back-in, and everything is smallish and tight. It is certainly a safe campground with the owners living on the property. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
