Planning a fall trip (late September ) there. Any suggestions for RV parks? I'm pulling a 20' Outback Hideout. Planning on some easy biking and hiking. Thanks

One place you might consider, if you can get a site, is Dead Horse Point SP. It's a ways out of town, and very close to Canyonlands NP; not terribly far from Arches either. Fantastic place. The CG does have electric hookups, but no shade. A trailer your size should be able to fit at least several of the sites.

We did not have the same experience Lauren did at Spanish Trail, and we found it a decent place for us to stay. If you check with them, do ask for a site toward the back of the park, rather than the row near the road; it will make a difference in traffic noise at your site.

I've stayed at both Slick Rock Campground and Archview RV Resort.

Slick Rock has a lot more large trees with shade but the sites are somewhat tight and is all dirt. It was a little cheaper than Archview. IIRC, Slick Rock Campground is one of the older RV parks so that is why they have more tree coverage.

Archview is newer so the trees aren't as big but the sites are a bit wider and also all gravel/dirt. It is a nice place and people are friendly. There is some very easy MTBing direct out of the campground to the northeast.

Both have full hook-ups available and are fine places to stay.
I love me some land yachting

If you ever get to the west side of Utah try South Forty in Marysvale on the 89. It's a very pro ATV/UTV park.

I do not recommend Spanish Trail. PM me if you want more details.
