Need reservations for winter stay in Tucson?

Do I need reservations to "snowbird" in Tucson area next winter?? We have wintered on the Gulf Coast the last several years and find the good CG's seem to stay full through the winter. Is Tucson the same? Hate to tie myself down with reservations if I don't have to?

I was in a pickleball tournament last week at the Voyager and the RV spaces were practically empty.

If you want a big park the Voyager is the place. Most likely would need a reservation. There are a lot more choices in the East Valley of Phoenix. Mesa, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon. Lower altitude so warmer than Tucson. The nice parks are booked up for Jan-March a year in advance!

Not sure about long term stays, but have stayed a month in the Jan-Feb timeframe a few times. Lots of vacant space in Voyager and Lazy Days when I was there.
