Have never stayed there but see it when we go to Deception Pass State Park. Looks like a nice clean park but spaces look close together. If youโre looking for more of a outdoorsy experience Rather than just the standard concrete pads next to each other, the State Park right across the street is a much better choice although they might already be booked up for Aug.
I not sure what type of site you need, but I would rather stay in the CG at Deception Pass State Park for a better experience and to be closer to the beaches. I live about 4 miles from the park. . . it is the most visited State Park in the state with more than 2,000,000 visitors each year. It is a great park.
Con is it is pretty close to WA 20. Noise could effect some people. If possible try to get site on old Coronet Bay side of park. Pro is the fact it is walking distance to Deception Pass State Park. It has been a while since we were there.
