Hello all. Planning a trip to Michigan. I have 2 + weeks. Leaving this weekend- and just going to enjoy the ride with no hurry to get anywhere! 29' Class C with a toad. I am spending 3 nights at Lake Hudson rec area in Southern Michigan- then ??? Would like ideas after that. Like quiet camps- near water would be awesome ( although I think there are tons of those in Michigan!). Thanks for any ideas you can share! - Kathy....'Just a girl and her dog Molly' ๐
Check out Mackinac City, campground is Tee Pee campground. Day trip some parts of the UP, day trip the Island. Lots to do for a girl and her dog. The Island welcomes pets as do the ferries to get over there.
If it was me, I would head to the UP. Tahquamenon Falls SP, Indian Lake SP, Wilderness SP (actually lower peninsula but close enough), or there is a local/county park in Munising.
