Parks on Portland's west side?

It appears that there are very few rv parks close in to the west of Portland, Oregon. We have stayed at Roamer's Rest and Champoeg, but they all entail a pretty long commute to visit my daughter in Hillsboro. Portland streets are crazy, so it is almost impossible to avoid the major commute routes.

For this reason, we would like to get closer to Hillsboro. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

Thanks.

Stubb Stewart st park near Vernonia. Should be about a 20 minute commute.

Looked at their website, they don't show any accomadations for trailers? How big of a trailer site do they offer?

They have full hookup sites...and if you click on the "map to park" link at this page, it opens to a Google Earth image- from what I can see there it looks accessible to most rigs.

There's also a video at the home page that practically drives you through the park so you can see for yourself!
Also from the link given you can go to the Brochures and you can get a PDF of the park along with site length. You won't have any problem with your rig in most, if not all of the sites. Enjoy.
