Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Bruce Peninsula National Park near Tobermory, Ontario. A truly beautiful place!

Site #108, as you can tell sites are tight, and I mean tight. Our site was a supposed pull through, which needed to be backed into. There were many scars on the trees from other rigs hitting the numerous trees. We managed to add a mark from the front awning bracket ripping off the trailer. Slides would've been tough at many of the sites.

No hookups, no showers (water available), but an awesome place to camp even for just one night.

Well, my RV is a little different from most folks here, but this was my first night camping in many, many years. This was at Hearst Beach State Park on the central coast of California. I don't remember the date exactly, but it was Yom Kippur, 2005.

There wasn't much to see from this spot, but I loved the moon that afternoon.

Ok, I couldn't resist. Here is our campspot at Crane Flats at Yosemite. This is dry camp only but a beautiful spot. We had a heck of a time getting our 23 ft Salem TT in there, but it was worth it.

My condolences to your family. My friend is a firefighter in Riverside County and did not know them, but they were all really hit hard by their deaths.

That's right, I remember hearing about campers being trapped. Sure that was a stressful time.

You can see the rest of the shots at Silent Valley Fire, Trapped Campers We had no choice but to stay there. They would not let anyone leave. We were surrounded by fire on all sides and there is only one mountain road out of the park which was on fire. Silent Valley is in like a bowel, and the rim of it was on fire. One of the fire fighters that was killed in the fire (Daniel Najerra) was a close friend of the family. My son was a palbearer at his funeral. That was a strange few days indeed.

forte88, those are some intense shots. I have a close friend who was on the lines fighting that fire. Not sure I would have stayed around to long...looks like it wasn't that far away from you.
