Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Hey Camp Disney we were there the same day. Was it windy enough for you? This was a beautiful GB, we loved being on the beach. We were in site 43. Happy Camping!

How funny that we were there at the same time. It was my Bday and fathers day for my hubby! Plenty of reason to camp. Yeah it was so windy, but then so nice that evening! We were site 46 I believe! Maybe we will see you again!

Monakayk..,
You wouldn't have the GPS coordinates for Red Feather Lakes would you? I just bought a Lowrance Iway entry level GPS and I'm addicted to being told where to go! And. How to get there!

Primitive/No facilities at this campground, but HUGE campsites nestled in the tall Pine trees. No one camped near us...we had the entire area to ourselves...NICE!

We just got back from a trip to Arizona. And we found this campground on the way to the Grand canyon. We thought this was the funniest place. We flew in to AZ. So we did not camp there. LOL. It was about 15-20 mins away from the entrance to the Grand canyon South rim.

This was our 1st tow car and trailer. LOL

We've also BTDT... and that is why I love to see photos of people's campsites -- they have become an important "tool" when we wanna try someplace new, esp a place that is not close enuff for us to do a "drive thru" at. It's so helpful to be able to "see" before going. Having a heads up on what to expect is usually invaluable. One of the MANY reasons I LOVE this forum -- it's priceless! ๐Ÿ™‚

Keep these awesome pictures coming, People!! I enjoy every single one of them.. :B

I think we have ALL BTDT - grrr I hate when that happens! I have been looking through the campground/attractions forum for awile now, taking notes and saving to my favorites for the day we are able to. I too now use the websites that allow users to rate campgrounds. BTW, that picture of camping on the beach was beautiful and made up for the crappy spot I hope!

Truck tent is from a truck accessory store I forget the name. Wife didn't like it cause it has no bathroom and, well.., you know in the middle of the night in the wilderness. Wifey hates to crawl out into the darkness. Sooo, no more truck tent. If you want one just search the internet for truck tent and you'll find them.

Thanks for the info....and ITA with the "wifey" I hate to crawl out in the wildness at night to find a rock in the dark to use the bathroom behind! LOL.
HAPPY CAMPING!!

Well supposedly that place is the Ritz Carlton of RV parks. Of course we did not really know what it was going to be like till we got there. It is Newport Beach, which is pretty fancy and well to do. The problem in Southern California is that there are so many campers and the parks keep closing to build more stuff. We went there when we were newbies and did not know how to find good campgrounds. Now we have rvparkreviews.com and rv.net ๐Ÿ™‚

seeshell30,

Don't feel bad....I know we have BTDT (been there done that) before too! It is the pits when you make reservations somewhere and then come to find out it is not as great as the write-ups/brochures, etc. make it out to be.

ITA....this website is the greatest for info on all things camp related. I hope next time you will be able to find a better CG.
HAPPY CAMPING!!

BTW...how did you get that tent attached to your truck? Is it made to fit that way or did you modify it to do so? Very interesting!

Also....LOVE the photo of your head 'sitting' on the log-stump! Too Funny! :B

seeshell30,

Why did that CG charge so much for such a small campsite right on on top of another campsite? :h

I have to agree with the other poster...with that price, the campsite should come with a steak dinner for the entire family AND FREE entertainment! I think I would find a Comfort Inn Hotel and pay less for a night than $80.00 for a small campsite like that! :E
