Primitive/No facilities at this campground, but HUGE campsites nestled in the tall Pine trees. No one camped near us...we had the entire area to ourselves...NICE!

We've also BTDT... and that is why I love to see photos of people's campsites -- they have become an important "tool" when we wanna try someplace new, esp a place that is not close enuff for us to do a "drive thru" at. It's so helpful to be able to "see" before going. Having a heads up on what to expect is usually invaluable. One of the MANY reasons I LOVE this forum -- it's priceless! ๐
Keep these awesome pictures coming, People!! I enjoy every single one of them.. :B

Dear Monayak
Truck tent is from a truck accessory store I forget the name. Wife didn't like it cause it has no bathroom and, well.., you know in the middle of the night in the wilderness. Wifey hates to crawl out into the darkness. Sooo, no more truck tent. If you want one just search the internet for truck tent and you'll find them.

Well supposedly that place is the Ritz Carlton of RV parks. Of course we did not really know what it was going to be like till we got there. It is Newport Beach, which is pretty fancy and well to do. The problem in Southern California is that there are so many campers and the parks keep closing to build more stuff. We went there when we were newbies and did not know how to find good campgrounds. Now we have rvparkreviews.com and rv.net ๐

BTW...how did you get that tent attached to your truck? Is it made to fit that way or did you modify it to do so? Very interesting!
Also....LOVE the photo of your head 'sitting' on the log-stump! Too Funny! :B
