Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Bill here is just one of the Trackrock sites, # 28 I believe. Most of the sites are very wooded and quiet. While the site is not very deep, the privacy and easy access offsets it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Bill, this campground is one of the best kept secrets. Trackrock.com take a look. I will try to post some pics later, correct size of course, lol. You are right about beautiful country up there. Very peaceful and well kept campground.

I'm not sure where the cg is but I know where Blairsville is. The brother in law and his wife used to live up the 400 in Dalongha, now live in Jefferson. Beautiful country in that area. I really like Amacola Falls SP in that are also. Enjoy you stay.

Thanks Bill, I too really enjoy seeing all the different camp sites. There are so many places that we want to go and soooo little time, lol. I think anyone would enjoy this campground. This thread gives us all ideas on where to visit next.

We are going to Trackrock this weekend. Trackrock is a family owned campground just outside of Blairsville in N. Ga. we have been camping there either by tent (early times) to our camper. It's got a little of everything for everyone. It was started back just after WW2 by the family. We try to go once a month the entire year. We are very lucky that way here in the south. Thanks again for the comments.

Happy Trails!

Good Morning TeamCyBo, keep em coming. Alot of us out here want to see these kind of photos. And as you know there are weight police, and picture size police, etc. Give your best. And as I said keep em coming. I have never camped on Lake Altoona, but like many I have crossed it many times. Looks like a great place to camp. Will keep it in mind to maybe someday when heading south to stop there.

My apologies to the admin but thank you for the resize. It just plumb slipped my mind. I will do better next time, I promise.

Please folks, let's not get into the picture resizing wars again. I just wanted to share our experience.

Thanks, and Happy Trails to all ๐Ÿ™‚

please shrink your pictures to 640x480 so the mods don't have to

They look like 640 x 480 to me. As long as they don't force a sideways scroll, you're ok.

I'm fine with how they are and actually prefer them bigger but we know how many people here don't like it. They're 1,024px ร— 682px though and the side to side scroll is showing for me.
