Wondering if someone can recommend rv park just north of Atlanta for an overnight on way south. Have need for pull thru for fifth wheel. Many of reviews don't seem that good. Wondering about Holiday Harbor Marina and Campground.

I didn't like Holiday park..the pull thrus are anything but easy to get in and out of if your rig is of any lenght...I ended up unhooking and backing out of my pull thru..had a 3 trees..one on each side of the site and then another on the other side of the road ..if the site directly in front of me was empty, could have gone straight thru...and I am a pretty good driver..but when it won't fit ,it won't fit...Chuck

Harvest Moon May be a bit too far north but our choice when passing through.

When we travel from Wisconsin to Florida, we always stop at Harvest Moon RV Park in Adairsville. The new section has long, level pull-thrus. Very easy in and out. Tracy

I always stay at Adairsville, Ga around 1 hour N. of Atalanta North side.
Driving 55-58 MPH

They are 2 campgrounds there that are side by side. One a Passport America($18) with 2 Pull Through's. The other a Good Sam($35) with many long Pull Through's.

He really enjoyed Holiday Trav-L-Park in GA, just south of Chattanooga. Yes, its 1 to 1.5 hrs north of Atlanta, but has pull thru's and is easy to get to.

We will be traveling through Atlanta (Monday). We probably will not leave the campground any time before 9:00 am. Considering we are still a few miles North of Atlanta, I'm hoping we will miss the morning traffic. Don't really matter when we go, we need to go that direction regardless. The good thing is, we're on vacation, so really don't care, as long as we are together. The camper is full of food and we have our bathroom, so .... don't matter at all.... traffic or not.

Will you have to go thru Atlanta in the morning if you stay north?
