Does this river at this park always have water? I know some in Texas get low in late summer.

Regardless of the stage of drought, this park always has flowing water. It is downstream of the springs that feed the river. It has a very small but very nice campground. We usually visit 2-4 Times a year.

Living in West Texas, it's my favorite park for the drive. The South Llano River is one of the best springs in Tx. There's always water. There's a great swimming hole at the front of the park or you can tube to the turkey roost area. I'd recommend getting a site on the back of the loop if available.

It should this month with the rain we had in May and all the flood warnings.
