we have stayed at this campground several times now - this time with kids and grandkids. The campground is nice - some spaces are better than others - we were disappointed that our fire ring was filled with cigarette butts - dirty. They have rides for the kids - ferris wheel, merry go round, bouncy house - however - they cost extra - not what i expected. and two of the three rides - the bouncy house and the ferris wheel were dirty and not well kept - the bouncy house had mold on it and the screens were torn.

the pool was nice - had two sections plus a low end for little kids - and two slides - pool was clean and the pool area was nice also.

big camp store - with a restaurant - didn't try the food there

there is also an ice cream shop - awesome ice cream!

wish there were more to do in the immediate area - had to travel to get to other entertainment

Hershey Park is about 35 - 40 minutes away

i would give this campground a 7 out of 10

hope this review is of some help

We too use it to and from the south. I would give it a 10 because it is 5 hrs from home, has big pull thrus, you can come late and check in on your way out and it's not to far from I81. There are no kids and the rides are all closed when we go there.

We only us this campground for an overnight stay to/from Maine but enjoy it because of so many pull thrus and not having to unhitch the tow. The sites are good size, with gravel and grass. We do not have children so have no idea about the activities. For the money we feel it is a great campground.

Twin Grove, not Groves. ๐Ÿ™‚
It is a nice CG. No, there Isn't much to do in the immediate area.
Next time you visit, take a ride to Pottsvile and tour the Yuengling Brewery. America's Oldest Brewery. It's an interesting.
Thanks for the review.
