Using a flag pole to hold cell antenna?

Anyone out there using one of thos extendable RV flag poles to hold a cell phone antenna. I saw one guy on YT doing it with considerable bend and I assume sway. I assume you might get away with an omnidirectional can but a Yagi would be doubtful

TJ Bowlin uses 3/4 and 1 inch electrical conduit, which I was considering but storing it would be a problem. He has a Class A with infinite storage.
I also heard someone suggesting a painters pole.

I just like to get the booster antenna up higher for those no bar locations.

Iโ€™ll try that. Good idea but I take the pole down any time I leave camp.

I use 2 sections of 1" pvc conduit cut just short enough to fit in the pass through area. I stick them together and lash it to the rear ladder. It may not be the best but works for me

I have my J Pole Ham radio antenna on top of a 26 foot telescoping fiberglass flag pole. It works great.
