Just a note, Yellowstone is at -9 this morning - how quick it turns to WINTER!

A few years back we had the best Indian summer in October - November in the Park.

Just always good to keep your eye on the weather and be glad you can move the house to a warmer location.

We just got home from 4 days at Desoto State Park in northeast Alabama. Perfect camping weather. 70's in the day and 50's at night.

Really glad the desert southwest is missing out on this cold snap. Headed out this weekend for two nights. Highs in low 60's, lows in mid 40's. Spent four nights at Lake Havasu this past weekend with highs in the mid 80's and lows around 60. Y'all can keep that white stuff that falls out of the sky!

It's -20 in Estes Park this morning! Makes the +12 here in Glenwood seem down right balmy. Now if more ski resorts would open.

Well, we have had a wonderful Indian Summer around here in Wyoming. On Sunday, here in Lander, Wyoming, it was 67 degrees in the afternoon. Woke up this morning to -12 at the airport and probably closer to -20 down here in the valley. The whole state had a great Indian Summer and it actually ended at the latest date in history. Don't worry about it being -9 in Yellowstone next June, it might be cool, but probably won't get down below 35-40 any night. Might snow a bit, but not enough to ruin your trip.
