Pigeon River Country State Forest, Northern Michigan. We are able to go 10 days on batteries alone. We do have a generator but seldom use it.
May 22, 2018, in the Sequoia National Forest, south of Grant Grove. That's the Great Western Divide to the southeast. The picture makes it look like the trailer is perched on the edge of a cliff, on top of a steeply sloping granite slab. It's misleading -- there is no cliff, and the slab was reasonably level:

This was a quick three-day trip I recently took in central Colorado the first week of January. We're currently in a drought, with very little snow, but this makes boondocking at 9K feet in the Colorado Rockies possible this time of year.
This is near Horton Creek, on BLM land, northwest of Bishop, Calif., just a week ago (mid-Dec. 2017):

And this is on the Volcanic Tablelands, north of Bishop, a few days later, also on BLM land. We expected the Tablelands to be deserted because it was midweek in December โ wrong! There were plenty of RVs (mostly smaller rigs). A lot of the folks were climbers enjoying the plentiful and challenging โboulderingโ opportunities. (Most of them were younger, as you might imagine.)
