We have a 2016 Forest River branded double axle trailer. The axles came non-grease Zerk with the simple cotter pin assembly that many trailer have. Is it possible to install a grease Zerk after the fact.
Please note that bearing buddy is something that we have installed. But the bearing buddy product does not push out the old grease like a bearing installed Zerk would do. We are looking for the piece of mind having a permanent zerk that pushes out the old grease and repacks the bearings with new grease. The bearing Buddy product just puts in extra grease but doesn't actually pack it in.

you don't want a berring buddy on a rv, boat trailers yer. rv's typicly use the EZ lube system like Latner mentioned, and it does push out the old grease but if you don't do it properly you can blow the seals. its easy to do, people just don't read instructions and treat it like a normal grease zerk.

You would have to change to EZ Lube spindles which are machined to do what you are wanting to do.
