AGM Battery upgrade, bigger batteries too

Here's a project I did a while back to gain more battery capacity and eliminate the need to continually check the water level in wet cell batteries.

I have a 3 stage charger, which charges batteries more thoroughly, which also causes them to gas more. Where the batteries are mounted, it's extremely difficult to check the water level in them. After 5 years, I killed the batteries by letting the water level get too low.

I'm still using a standard wet cell battery on our TT, knowing that one of these days it will bite the big one. When it does, I'm seriously considering replacing it with a LiFePO battery. I'm starting to save my pennies for that day, as such a battery is several times as expensive as a wet cell lead acid battery, and in addition will also require replacement of my current TT's converter. I'm hoping by then that the prices will have come down a bit.
