I went with the old style quickee flush on my old trailer; was leery of things that spin inside the tank like the Tornado

that's why they sell water thiefs, I think they are called. but I stay every third night at a FHU site and dump, etc. at my leisure.

I tossed the vinyl hose and installed my Quicky Flush with 5/8" PEX.
I had trouble keeping the hose connected and sealed to the Tornado.
Did I mention more water flow?

I installed a Quickie Flush in my Class C and it was one of the best Mods I have done, and pretty simple.

I picked the Quickie Flush over the Tornado because of the high failure rate of the swivel part. A few of my friends had them fail and it leaves it useless in the tank. Freezing around here is not a problem just a poor design.

The only thing that I changed is where the hose connects up with the flusher I put a 90 Degree Elbow in it to reduce the strain on the hose and make it closer to the tank.

It looks like this when finished, with a quick disconnect on the end.

Don't get discouraged if it leaks at the hose connections at first they are sometimes hard to get tight. Tightened mine up and have had no leaks anywhere.
Another suggestion is to make a test hole in a piece of wood or something and test fit the device to the hole. I found that the hole size suggested was much larger than needed.
Good Luck.

I full time so Winter is not the problem. I have to keep my wet bay above freezing. It's just a poorly built unit.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

I am wondering if the ones that broke some how froze during the winter, If I see we will be getting some freezing temps out here I will Blow some air thru mine so water is not in the short section of hose from the bumper to the rinser. Mine did develop a water leak during use at the connection on the tank, looked like the plastic collar on the hose cracked. Since then I blow it out before winter.

And i am just a courteous as the next guy, but in all honesty,, it doesn't add that much more time to the dumping process. Maybe we a re just a little bit more Relaxed or Laid Back as you say.. Gotta say I have never dumped in the south,,maybe you guys need to hand out some Midol??

I had 2 break as well. Not sure why I even gave the 2nd one a try as the No-fuss flush works every bit as well and has no moving parts. That's what is installed now.

Of course, we are born and raised in the South, where we were were made very aware of courtesy to others, the lack of courtesy being emphasized by a firm smack to the side of the head. I have no problem using the flush at a dump station, or taking all the time we need, UNLESS there are others in line and waiting for me to finish. In that case, we try to finish and get out of the way as quickly as we can. I can always do a good flush later. We do realize, and see quite often, that many of our ways are strange, and that others do not see things as we do To each his or her own. .

yes, I installed mine four years ago,I really like it! Although some here think that using it while dumping is wasting every one elses time!!

Looks identical to the Tornado brand version I installed on our TrailCruiser years ago ... first one was busted right out of the package, second one got installed but later also broke. These things are just plastic and IMO next to useless ... tank wand down the toilet throat is simpler and does a much better job. JMO. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes they work. Make sure to winterize the hose that feeds it every year. It's easy to forget and water left in it will freeze and bust it. I poured some RV antifreeze in mine every year.

Use full water pressure when you use it.
