That under the solar panels is the hotest place on your roof..

My TC roof is made of plywood coated with epoxy and marine enamel,

Ive noticed that below solar panel which is about 3 inches above roof the paint got completely cooked and was peeling like crazy..

I sanded it all clean and will lay on EPDM rubbed membrane to avoid continuous painting..
Also placed thin aluminum sheet under the solar panel to keep heat away from the roof in the future..

One learns something new no matter how old 🙂

Some time back, I read a post (maybe on rv.net) that he had attached some tubing under his solar panels to heat water while boondocking.

Too bad it's not hot enough to cook the wasps that nest under there. My EPDM roof seems to be holding up better under the panels than anywhere else.
