Flex seal paint on roof edge

Hey All,
My rig had some water leaks sealed by the RV shop that I bought it from and the interior is dry. The sealant is not very attractive along the top edge and can be seen if you look closely.

My question is:

Could that white "Flex-Seal" rubber paint they sell work to clean that up? I thought that is would give it a uniform edge up top and worst case help prevent an future leaks. They do make a white in brush on I believe, I was thinking spray would be a PITA.

What say you???

Eternabond tapes being applied to prevent any leaks:

First coat of white, acrylic, elastomeric roof coating:

The Eternabond tape on the edge trim covers, nearly, the entire aluminum piece and screw cover. I masked and taped a clean line on the exterior wall side of the aluminum trim and sprayed across that. I used an airless spray system (Graco). It took me longer to mask and tape than to apply two coats of the roof coating. Total time was about three hours. It is holding up, impeccably, on my aluminum roof.

Flex seal is better than Eternabond, just ask Phil Swift, I believe he frequents this board.

It comes in both a paint and a tape. I use it often to put aluminum boats back together that I cut in half with a grinder for no apparent reason.
Too many geezers, self appointed moderators, experts, and disappearing posts for me. Enjoy. How many times can the same thing be rehashed over and over?

Here's a link to the company that sells the EPDM Liquid Roof. They have instructions and videos on how to DIY. The after photos look great!

If the leaks are sealed just use one of the RV roof coating products to give it a uniform appearance.

Eternabond is a tape, not a paint. Eternabond tape

If it has petroleum products in it could do more harm then good.

Thanks

That is why I ask here...most of the newbie mistakes have been made. I will use the 4" eternabond tape to clean it up and be done with it.

What did the RV shop use to seal the roof that is so unattractive?
What color is it?

I also recommend Eternabond along the edges and all seams.

I think it was the eternacaulk along the edges and it attracts dirt in those areas...it is not That noticeable from the street, I just thought a uniform spray above the gunwale would look better

If flex seal will peel I may just clean it and use the eternabond tape in the area

Most RVers won't recommend Flex Seal. You might consider Eternabond - looks decent and great for preventing leaks.
