I got some LED lights yesterday and they are 921 replacement bulbs. tried them in the TT today and boy are they hard to get into the slots. any suggestions to make it easier to get them in. also getting the lens off are not the easiest thing either.

I have lights similar to Bigbird65. Just slide a kitchen knife in the crack where the lens cap meets the center post and twist the knife. It will push the cap out easily.

I replaced all 16 921s with these LEDs. I did not find them difficult to push in. A slight push of the lens toward the end of the fixture and it comes off easily. We sure enjoyed using these LEDs on a very recent 3433 mile camping trip. The 921s seemed very harsh compared to these cheap LEDs. No radio or TV interference either.

Use a little bulb grease. It can be picked up at any automotive.
Should make it easier to slide the bulbs in and improve connection.

Just changed out my 921 bulbs with led. They are hard to push in but I got them in without bending or breaking any. The difference is amazing.

I had to shave down the sides of the LED bulb "stems" a hair with a knife to get them to fit.

My ceiling lens looked like this one shown in the google image below.

You can just see the dark area where slots are. For me it was easy to grab the lens close to the center of the assy and squeeze in then just slide outward...

use a plastic knife or some such to spread the contacts a bit wider inside the socket.

I agree on getting the lens off, some of my fixture opened easy, others are a PITA
