pleated shower door install

I finally bought a pleated shower door for the bath. It should help with the kids and water "magically" escaping the area when they shower, Anyway, Our TT is stored outside (with a cover) in humid florida. Is the silicone you buy in Home depot any different from what you would buy at camping world for this install. I used a regular kitchen/bath silicone for the shower guards (on the side of the tub) and it seemed to work well for the year they have been installed, but just wanted to see what you all thought.

Thanks

I read on here not long ago that someone had trouble getting the silicone to stay adhered to the shower surround. They ended up using some type of caulk from Walmart that I had never heard of before that worked better for them than silicone.

The "stuff" you can buy at HD is perfectly suited for the install and probably will pay less than at an RV parts house. I would recommend the best or $$$ such as GE for bath use. We installed a pleated door last year with no problems, other than the newer models are made a bit cheaper than the one that was mfg installed in our 2004 Pioneer.

Just like almost everything else now days. No more ice cream gallons, smaller quantities of just about everything. I'm waiting for the new yardsticks to come on the market, 33-1/3" in length to save the mfg money!!!!! Just in jest!!
