Good day today.

Got Dish installed, well mostly...finished washer/ dryer install and started back splash.

This was our way of getting Sat Dish up on the roof.

More steps toward full timing next March. Woo Hoo!

Nice job, did you install the base plate or mount directly to roof?
Which traveler ? Dish, DTV?

Hi, yes, we used the plate to be safe.
And as always Satellite Bill is correct. It is a DTV SK-3005 converted to SWM type for HD, again a big THANK YOU to Bill.
Just started last weekend with the plate, the dish and part of the cables this weekend.
Hope to finish it next weekend.
Oh, and it's a we ( he and she ) install. :B

Not sure when the install was done but he/she is installing a older (pre-2013) SK-3005 for DirecTV. That coach would not need the separate base plate but it could be used if you were a belt and suspenders kind of guy/gal. Having installed nearly 200, I never once use the separate base.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

By the way, I wonder where her spouse was? Maybe having a beer or too while she was doing all the heavy work.

I do need to defend my position on this quote. That dish was pretty heavy I could have broken a nail or something, and besides if something went wrong I didn't want to take the blame :W

Ok, now that's funny.
Yup, turned it on and it pointed straight up and did a whole bunch of 360's.
Thanks for the good laugh.

Definitely, all necessary equipment for fulltiming.

Can't live comfortably without our DirecTV dish and w/d. Both used daily.
