Storage cubby - next to bed

I want to install a cubbie (?) to hold a book, cell phone or glasses kind of thing. This will go into the closet on either side of the bed near our pillows. I've seen plastic inserts that all I'd have to do is cut out a hole but can't find them now. I'm not a carpenter so making one is out of the question.

Any ideas?

Glad you found them. Tried to post a link but several times I got an error. Could not even post the text of the search link.

I did do a search but nothing came up until this time. The double din radio cubbies are really close to what I'm talking about.

Thanks,

Do a search on Amazon for "cubbies".

Dutchmen - Great idea! I'm going to steal it from you. Might have to steal the spring loaded pole with the fans, too!

Thanks.

Here's what we did with our previous camper. I just bought some stackable bins. Had 2 on one side of the bed, and 2 on the other. I put a board on the top to make a flat top on each one. I used the same type of bins for the bottom bunk at the other end of the camper too. Worked great! My current has a built in cubby hole, so am not using these any more.

I would think any kind of "bin" would work. Find one in the size you want, cut the hole and turn the bin on its side and slip it into the hole. Small trash can, ice bin, nick nack bin, anything the size you want. If it has a lip to cover the cut, all the better.
