Well, seeing as I do countertops for a living, I should be doing our new motorhome lol here's what I'm working with.

I guess i should do all of the laminate ๐Ÿ™‚

Table too

Small top between the chairs

Sink and stove taken out

Time to convert the poly-b to pex and install some ball valves w/braided lines.

Time for the old pink tops to come off!

New valves and lines on

Old top off. I'll use this as a template for the new one

L-brackets on and waiting for the new tops.

more to come

Walter makes this look so easy! I could find 1,000 ways to mess this up, but with the right knowledge and tools, it comes out great! Looks like the "copy bit" is a pretty important tool along with a router to do this work. Knowing how to glue on the laminate and trim it post-gluing is also pretty important.

Sure liked this post.. inspiration for those of us with 10 thumbs but a desire to improve our coaches!!

๐Ÿ™‚ like anything if you do it for a living its much easier

Looking for Part 2 also! Say, is that an inside camera you have located in the window over the sink? Looks like the blind is cut out for it. Very curious as to how that is used.

Please post - I think I can learn a lot from your experiences!!

Looks like easy access to the window opener mechanism / knob.

Always replace. Laminate is non porus, so the glue has nothing to soak into.

Not saying you can't, in just wouldn't do it ๐Ÿ™‚ especially if the old laminate started to let go

Can you just glue new laminate on the old stuff or do you have to replace the wood too?
