Toddler bed restraint

Any good ideas to keep a toddler in his bed? He likes to stand in his crib at home. He is one year old. I picture having a crib without a botton to place on the sofa bed and tie down with straps so he does not fall off. Any ideas?

In our first TT, we would put our very active 18 month old in a pack and play on our bed. Due to the narrow doorway, when it was time for us to go to bed, my wife would hold him while I would collapse it to get it through the door and then put it in the dinette space.

The next yeat we had upgraded to a bunkhouse, my wife used spring loaded shower curtain bars and some fabric to come up with a barrier to keep him from rolling out.

Velcro straps wrapped around the wrists and ankles and screwed to the side rails?
(It's a joke.....get over it!)
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

We are thinking about that. Ideally I would have the pack and play on top of the bed. Or something like that.

Maybe a fine mesh net fastened over the top of the crib? Make sure there are no loose cords (strangling hazard).
