Pride scooters

We carry two of these in the back of our Ford Edge. They come apart without tools and in seconds. Each piece is light enough for most people to lift. I recommend the large battery option. These are not great on graveled areas. The OP's unit is a bit of a larger scooter with tires more suited for that type of surface. We use ours at WDW frequently.

There are many brands of scooters that would fit the bill.

My Go-Go four wheel travel scooter breaks down into 5 separate parts, none weighing more than 20 pounds. It will easily fit in the basement storage area on a class A, the trunk of a small car, or even the back seat! Very handy if your friends car is supplying the transportation. No special carrier needed.

This is what I used for my 4 part mobility scooter. It also has a motor section, steering section, and two batteries, about 24 pound of the heavy section, battery is 16 pounds each 12 AH 12 volt.

My weight is 300 pounds, and it holds me well..

Thanks. Is the storage bin strong enough to support the total weight or, did you add supports?

I would be concerned about the constant bouncing while driving.
Maybe I'm overly cautious about the weight I carry in the storage bins.

Nice! We're going to keep RVing as long as we can so one or two of these may be in our future given the physical issues we are dealing.
