Never get rid of the tire! Goodyear will want it sent to their factory for inspection. The dealer will not tell you this so make sure they don't disgard the tire. Goodyear dealers should help you with a claim but if not have them hold the tire until you can call Ggodyear and file a claim and they will arrange to have the tire shipped to them.
My last claim with good year was over $8,000.00 and they paid for everything I have never had them deny a claim. Also when I filed all four of my damage claims they not only paid for the damage tires they paid to have all other tires replaced. But you must have the tire! Goodyears stands behind their tires thats why I will contiune to buy them.

We had Goodyear G614's on our 5er and had tire failure tread seperation fuve differant times. Goodyear always paid for all damage and tire replacement. We went with the 17.5 rims and Goodyears G114 foyr yeras ago and have never had a another tire problem.
