For those that were wondering where Mark ended up. It looks like he's building again here in Socal with Warrior Lifesstyles rv store in charge or sales. Here is a link to the new inventory.. I wonder if this is going to cause more legal battles for the company since they are still putting the name weekend warrior on the trailers.

Mark warmoth? He is building in Idaho under the name Extreme Warrior.

I am aware of extreme warrior but I read this article and it lead me to him working with warrior lifestyle Click here

The article in the link explains a lot.

1. Extreme Warrior is currenly closed do to finances.
2. Mark is involved in Warrior Lifestyles, but to what extent is unclear.
3. Weekend Warrior MFG, Inc out if Indiana is a new company that has nothing to do with Mark or the old WW, they just filed a trademark application to use the name.
4. Mark is typing to block them using the name.

. Looks like he has his hands in two pots.
A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

Idiots

Can't fix stupid.

Because there are still more of them out there than all the others and it is a great name to have. They also had a very good reputation up until the end. Sure there were some problems but they were fixing them and there are many, many , many out there with virtually no problems. I owned 2 of them and would have no problem buying a used one again after checking it out thoroughly.

true true. most forget that ww was one of the first, and owned the toy hauler market early on.

most of the features we take for granted came stock on the early ww's.

although times change, i really don't see any other brands, that were hands down better than ww for a given period in time.

name must not be to bad, if another company is willing to stake there reputation on the ww name.;)

new unit might be ok but still not a true ww.

I would buy an extreme way before anything else- then again I have had very good luck with my WW trailers. Everyone seems to forget all of the frame issues people had with the Raptor trailers when they first came out...

Has anyone else considered that the new WW had a GVWR of only 9999#'s? I don't see how you load a 28 foot box up and keep it under 10k pounds. Water and fuel are gonna run 1600#'s, add in 3-400# for on board generator, 100# for second A/C, couple hundred pounds for gear, clothes, spares, tools... and thats before you add any toys.
Clearly it does not have enough payload capacity.

I see the benefit of staying under 10k in CA from a license standpoint but it would be really tough for me to take everything I would want and be under 10k.

Because there was a huge market with the WW name attached. Thats why! When 70% of all TH have WW on the trailer, you gamble with the name and risk the goods and bads. Its a smart move for the new mfg.
