Not only a driver shortage, but the recent Dometic electric awning motor recall delayed every delivery for 2 weeks.....

We ordered our 5er late Feb of 2012. Dealer said the usual '6-8 weeks'. Dealer called us after 6 weeks and said it will be a 2014! It arrived at the dealer 1 week later so a total of 7 weeks. Spring is not only the busiest time for manufacturers but also for the delivery people. I agree with others, getting exactly what you want will be worth the wait.

It's too bad there isn't any money to be made delivering these trailers. If it paid a little better they would have more drivers than they could handle..

well just told its shipping problems,not enough drivers. I told them I would go but no luck.

When I ordered my TT back in 05 I was told 6 weeks and it arrived in less than 4. I think it has a lot to do with where they are in the production cycle and how many units of each model they are building. If orders for the same floorplan are added to the run then it gets longer and longer pushing subsequent production out further and further.

I would pick it up my self but they said I coundnt. big event to go to in the first week of june sites payed for 500 already with no refund. Its a big flee market up here in Ontario at burls creek.
