Axles flipped and ready for deer camp!

Here is a pic of the "new to us" toyhauler that I bought for deer hunting(among other uses). It was just too low to the ground for pulling off the roadway. It came with 4" drop axles which added to it being too low. So I bought a Dexter "flip-kits" from Etrailer and installed them myself with help from my dad. I gained about 5 1/2" of clearance for the pipes. I'm glad I am loading a quad though as it made the ramp break over angle a little steep. Anyway, I am very happy with the results. Here are a couple of pics.

If you have a curb use it.

I have 2 sets of those ramps that I used in helping me lift the camper initially for the axle flip. It NEVER dawned on me to use them while loading a bike or golf cart. Thanks for the suggestion!!

We saw a set of race car ramps that look like old oil change ramps that support the ramp door about a foot off the ground and gave you a good angle to make the rise. I cannot remember the name of them but they are available in the internet some place.

Nice looking rig.
I guess if you needed, you could get some sort of support for the ramp door, and then use after-market ramps to go from the ground up to the TH ramp, to reduce the angle. You know, drop the door down to about a foot from the ground, then run the ramps from there down.

Happy Hunting!!
