Basement access on Desert Fox 30 5J

Excuse me if this is a silly question, but I just brought home my "new to me" DF 30-5J and discovered that in the cabinet under the vanity was a factory (pretty sure) hole in the floor that accessed the basement of the coach. Just wondering if anybody knows if that is there for just convenience, or some specific purpose? Any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

That's awesome! Thanks. It's a whole new world with the 5th wheel, every time I turn around I find another feature that's cooler than my tag trailer!

It is also a good way to get back up into your trailer when you lock your self out as everybody has a basement key (They all the same for the most park)... If you can't fit through the hole a kid sure can...
