Looking for suggestions on quality tires for my 32 ft fifth wheel. I have tried several imports and haven't been real pleased with them. ST2.35/80R16 is what I am currently using.

The actual scaled weight on your axles is what really counts. Even if your fiver has been upgraded to 8k axles the LT E tires will be fine if your total axle weight does not exceed 12,168 lbs (excludes pin weight). Or if you have accumulated excess tire money you can waste some of it on 614s.

Your ST235/80-16 E has 3500 lbs of capacity and come on 7k axles. If this is the case you will need to move up to a Goodyear G614 at 3750 lb capacity or the commercial grade Sailun S637 at 3750 lbs capacity. Both tires area LT235/85-16 G load range.

If your trailer has 6k axles or smaller the tires mentioned above work great.

I tried Yokohama. Found some last spring and replaced the tires on my 2010 Cougar. Liked them enough to insist they get put on the new Big Country I got last fall. Anything but trailer tires. Well maybe Maxxis.
Have had both Duravis 250 and the Transforce on my trucks and not had any complaints at all.

For 6K axles I have had excellent service from B.F. Goodrich Commercial TAs (LT LRE).

With a 5er your size the BFG Commercial TA would work just fine and they are reasonably priced. I have them on mine which weights 12100 loaded for travel and 9500 on the trailer axles. Pulled about 4000 miles so far.

We recently put Bridgestone Duravis R250 on our Arctic Fox. They were recommended by a semi truck driver who also has a 5th wheel.

I am running Firestone Transforce LT E with no probs.

Those or most of the above mentioned are good.

How to find out which is best would be a******shoot.

Has 6000lb axles. Have about 5000 miles on them so far. All looks good after going through two sets of ST tires eith many failures.

I just switched out my XPS ribs (age, not wear) for Bridgestone Duravis 250s. Dealer I have been going to for over 50 years handles both brands, recommended the Duravis. Not because they are better than the ribs, but because they are basically the same tire at about $50 per less money.

This is assuming OP has 6k axles, not 7k lb axles of course
All these mentioned so far have roughly 3042 lb weight ratings.

X3 for Michelin XPS Ribs.

I had BFG Commercials prior to the XPS Ribs and they stood up well for 7 years on a heavy fiver. I replaced them simply due to age.

Michelin XPS RIBS

I researched for over a year by going through RV/Truck forums and consumer reviews. Time and Time again the Michelin XPS RIBS were shown as top rated. Most of the testimonials indicated the folks were getting way more life out of the XPS RIBS than expected. Many were in the expected 65,000 miles but got 90,000 miles range.

I've had the tires on my 5th wheel for 2 years with no problems.
