- Hardware cloth covers mine.
- kebmwExplorerInteresting that you just posted this because my brother and his family drove a nest of baby birds for 3 hours last weekend in his pin box before they found out. The babies survived and they found a local marine rescue place in the area they were staying to take the babies. I hope they lived. Poor Mama back home though, wondering what happened.
We have a goose neck, so have never encountered that. I will pass along this thread to my brother though. I guess it's because it's Spring...
~Karin - HD_HaulerExplorerDoor Screen attached with velcrow works fine when you remember to put it back up, because now I have some small finches who has set up house in my 5th wheel hitch and my wife will not let me do nthing with it until the baby birds has hatched and gone W.T.H., also remember if you have a migratory bird in your hiych you are not to tamper with it because the migratory bird act is more strict than the endangered species act and you can go to jail and fined up to $25,000. so do your bird nesting protection first.
- lucy6194Explorerafter taking a nest of baby birds to the tire store and back we let them fleg and then fashioned a piece of hardware cloth for the opening so momma bird wouldn't get back in for a second batch.
- pizzaguyExplorerPlastic garbage bag held on with bungee cord.
- et2ExplorerGet a new fiver. That solved our problem :B. Parked in the same spot, don't now why, but I'm not complaining. All the other fivers still have the problem near me.
- filthy_beastExplorerI made a nice cover out of some aluminum left from changing old stop signs out in our subdivision. I used a piece of cardboard to make a template to be a pattern.
- HelimechExplorerPut a cat in there.:E
