We are narrowing down our choice for a new 5er. We are looking at the 3025RL BlueRidge and the 33RL Silverback, both by Forest River. any thoughts? I was told that the 2014 Silverback will have the autolevel option. We are also looking at the Columbus by Palimino.

Yes the colors are just like the Cedar Creeks have on them right now, plus I think they are offering the 6 point level up system as a option, I saw a Silverback at the FROG rally last week on display there.

We STILL love our 2009 Silverback 32WRL...although some of the newer available luxuries will be on our next unit.

Thanks everyone, We are leaning toward the silverback. We are just waiting for a dealer near us to get a 2014 in so we can see the new exterior in person. I have heard they are cream color on the sides and darker brown on the cap. Craig

We have a 2011 Silverback 35 RE. We are very happy with it and have almost no issues. I agree that the auto level system and quad steps would be good options. We just installed the quad steps last year. There is so much storage we have not used any of the cabinets in the living room.

my brother in law bought a used 2011 silverback approximately 1 yr ago. his is RL. the duel size slide outs across from each other make for a spacious at home experience. if you like having folks over for a movie or plan to have kids travel with you it is a good choice. quality of the camper is good meaning no costly problems as of now.

Gotta love those Silverback cathedral ceilings! That 33RL is a very nice unit. The 29RE was on our shortlist last year but lack of a pantry killed it for DW. Here's a link to the Cedar Creek thread at the Forest River Forum: http://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/f23/

We are very satisfied with our 2013 29RE Silverback. Options I would get would be a level system, and quad step entry. 2nd AC unit is a must, but is a little loud over the bed.

Just wanted to clarify - Cedar Creek is its own division so it's more like a cousin to the Blueridge and Cardinal which are manufactured in a completely different plant in another Forest River site. With that said, if I were buying another 5th wheel the CC would be on the list for my price range, the Blueridge not so much. Visit the FR owners forum.

You are absolutely right about the Lippert 'Level-up' system being added to the Silverback line. I toured the plant a few days ago and saw them in person. A nice addition. I also toured the Sabre plant and they are incorporating the 'JT Strongarm Stabilizers' Another great touch.

It was my understanding that the Blue Ridge was a less cost Cardinal and a Sliverback was a lesser Cedar Creek? Both are sister rigs.

You could be right. I have not however heard the same complains about the SB that I have heard about the BR. Now which better CC or Red Bird! Chris

Go with the Silverback, you won't disappointed. If you see a Cedar Creek in town, with Brighton on the front end, talk with them. Face to face will give you information you never thought possible.
