Cameo low water flow

Over the last couple of years, the cold water pressure at the kitchen sink has diminished. The problem is only at the kitchen faucet, and only the cold water. My first guess is that I have a clogged filter, but cannot locate one. It is on the unit in my signature. Can anybody help me out?

It's all coming together. Once we get home, I'll be doing the back flush thing. Thanks to all for the input.

We have a 2011 Cameo, it has a whole house 3M filter, not sure why we need to filter all the water but it does. We have replaced the kitchen faucet, because we wanted a spray and when I did I found that the hot water side was running slower, I had kinked the braded hose during installation.

I have an '06 Cameo and the only interior filter I'm aware of is for the drinking water faucet (which we no longer use). Hope this helps.

I have a 2011 Cameo and it does not have a filter under the sink or in house at all. I imagine the problem is only in the cold side of the faucet. I think I would just buy a new faucet and get rid of the problem.

Nomad 297, thank you. What you suggest makes sense. I will try it. I am still hoping to hear from some Cameo owners to tell me if there is a filter in the system or not.

It could be so many things, but what I would try first is disconnecting the cold side, put my hand over the spout to plug it, then turn the faucet on so water flows backwards through the cold side. This can flush out something that may be clogging the cold side. I do this often.

IF it only the cold side of faucet (hot flow OK) then it isn't aerator it is the cold side of faucet clogged up.

Need to disassemble faucet (IF possible..RV faucets are junk) and clean.

OR replace with a good quality residential faucet


If you had a water filter and kitchen sink is only faucet that is problem then filter would be under kitchen sink with cold water line to faucet.

Unscrew this from the end of the faucet and clean it out.

If it's really just that one faucet, I'd take the stem out and see if some crud is blocking the seat or even the supply connector under the counter. Craig
