If everyone gave a 4 year warranty on an RV they would all go broke.

I guess it's unreasonable to think that a repair should correct a problem for good rather than just long enough to get past a warrantee period. Unfortunately for everyone this has become the norm across the board no matter what you have done. Sad state of affairs.

Doug - You explained the exact procedure on how to repair from someone else I spoke too. What is the expectancy of the repair in your opinion...in mine if the repair is done correctly should last as long as the rest of the cap. Also, not sure I'm following you with the paper trail, when I noticed it out of the gate, I brought it to dealer's attention, they made arrangements to repair. Bottom line is, it was not done properly and here I am.
When you have a problem like you have, you get EVERYTHING in writing. You also ask both the Dealer and FR and the Body shop what warranty they will supply for the repair. GET IT IN WRITING. I doubt most body shops would warranty a repair on an RV for more than 1 year. One thing a LOT of people do not realize on warranties is this. True for both Auto's and RV's. The warranty period is for the term for the OEM. For instance, you have a 1 year warranty. At 11 months they replace the Water pump. Your warranty on the Water Pump is 1 month, NOT 1 year from the replacement. Same with Auto's. 3 year warranty. At month 35 they replace the Alternator. Your warranty is 1 month NOT another year or another 36 months for the Alternator. Some Body Shops warrant for lifetime you own the CAR for body work. Most do NOT. Doug
