Hi,
I have a message on my fridge that says DC power low. Can someone give me a clue as to its meaning, and what do I need to do to address the issue.

Your help is appreciated.

Enblethen pretty much covered it.

2oldman, could you be more specific? I.e. what voltage should I be looking for if in either cases? Etc.. thanks

Not sure where the low trigger is for the indicator but fridge should run fine down to 10 volts.

Are you measuring the house battery or the chassis battery? Yes 13.2+ volts would be the normal when plugged in.

Be good to now what kind of rig plus make and model!
Normally I would disconnect the battery, then connect voltmeter across leads coming from the converter, check voltage, record it, then disconnect the rig from shore power, voltage should go away.
Voltage should be over 13 volts when connected to shore power.
I would locate your converter and provide make and model.

If I disconnect my battery, the fridge does not work on both electric and/or gas.

I charged the battery 2 days ago. It was reading 13 volts. Since then, the battery is going down daily. How do I determine if my power supply is charging the battery?

If he's not on shore power it is.

Referencing Bob213's comment about no matter how the frig is being powered.

I don't understand comments about it being a low battery. My battery went dead because I forgot to turn the breaker on after connecting to shore 3 months ago. I will be getting a new battery today. The 50 amp power has been on for 2 weeks and everything functions without a battery which I removed 3 days ago.. Fridge was turned on Sunday and has been on normal temps since then.

It could be failing battery. Converter could be putting proper voltage out but battery shorted.
I would take battery out or at least disconnect it, then charge it up. Wait overnight for battery to stabilize. If it goes flat, replace the battery.

Yesterday, my battery was showing 13.3 volts, today it is down to 12.02 volts. It looks like my power supply unit stopped charging the battery. I will double check my connections. I may charge my battery also.

Thank you for the replies.

Get out your voltmeter and measure your 12vdc voltage.. anywhere.

Sounds like your battery is low. If you are plugged in to 110v then your converter is not charging battery. Refrig. needs 12v for control board no matter how it's running.
