We have a 3200 Dutchman Voltage on order and I was reading their Facebook Page and read some horrible reviews about quality. (Voltage reviews 1&2 under comments)Would current owners please let me know the good and bad of this product. If bad did they take care of the problems. If yours is a 2012 built have they improved quality control? I have a very looooooong PDI list to check rig but concerned about all the issues. Thanks

We are looking for a 3818 so that we can put a boat, motor and trailer in the back with a weight of about 2500 pounds. It sounds like this should work on the ramp without modifications to the ramp...based on your experience.

Find out how much axle weight you have. My car is 2950# and almost 50/50 front to rear axle weight ratio. I only have 1 axle on the ramp at a time so it's around 1500# to 2000# on the ramp.
I had a Waverunner I would load with a winch but it was only 1300# +/- on the ramp.
How are you going to load it?

I had about 20 items on my list that were fixed by the dealer or me in the first year. No biggy. Choice of dealer is very very important.

Essentially no problems in the two years since.

For anybody even considering buying a Voltage, send me a private message. I can send you photos of slides falling apart, and documentation of countless other issues. Like other people have stated on here, if you haven't had problems, YOU WILL.
Perhaps you could just post some of those photos right here, in this thread.

And, lots of us can send pictures that do NOT show ours falling apart! LOL Two years, months of living in ours, well over 10,000 miles, and essentially no problems.

Well this has been a bummer to read. Looking at a 2014 voltage epic 3200. Any new comments?

Im buying a 2014 voltage 3905 and am seriously doubting this now....

i questioned the wood that is underneath the rollers on the slides...
The salesman just stated "dutchmen knows what they are doing"

The wood was wet, and just some black wood under the sliders....
I looked under my slides. Not sure what it is but it doesn't look like wood.

The best advice I have for the Voltage slides to make sure the trailer is level and the jacks are down and then they seem to work fine. I had problems with mine and realized it was caused by running them with the truck hooked up and the jacks not down.

Like I said in the other thread you started, the wood isn't a problem.

We've had our 3600 for about three weeks now and love it. Biggest hurdle was learning how things work. We just took it on it's maiden voyage and the trailer was awesome.

Mine is a '13. I know there were a lot of options added as standard on the newer years. Auto level, frame less windows, trail air pin, heated mattress.. to name a few. I think '11 was their first year so I'm sure there were growing pains. I guess it all depends on what you want and the price.
Yes the '11s had some minor problems. The faulty ramp was the worst.

The biggest problem was that I had to move to a 2011 truck - anything else and my TV would be overloaded.
