Fifth Wheel Riding Nose High

So I know this subject has been discussed a lot but I am looking for feedback on this. My 2019 Keystone Cougar 32BHS is riding nose high when towed with my 2017 Ram 2500 6.4. I only have the 17 inch rims on my truck with no lifts and the adjustments on my hitch are maxed out. I measured the frame of my fifth wheel to the ground on both the back and the front of the camper. About 24" in front and 18.5" in the back. 5.5" difference so roughly 3" nose high?

Everything seems to be riding fine and after about 1,200 miles of towing I am note seeing any uneven tire wear.

I cannot do an axle flip as the axle is already below the leaf springs.

Is this amount of nose high going to cause me a problem down the road or is this okay to run as is? All suggestions would be appreciated.

I guess LCI has a few thousand still in stock, so they're still selling them. :B

Strange. Still listed on their web site with zero info on it being discontinued. Also, I noticed that there is a Correct Track II being advertised, so the "Correct Track" may, in fact, be discontinued in favor of the "II" model. It's also still available in their online store.

I thought it was odd too. I just called them again today and they said that it has been discontinued and there is no replacement for it.

Add a Correct Track suspension alignment system, and you'll gain 2" on the FW, leaving you 1" nose high. FWIW, I towed 2-3"nose high for 13 years, and never had a tire wear or fridge issue.

I thought about this system, but LCI says they discontinued it. They did not give me a reason. Has anyone used this Correct Tract? How was the install process?

I cannot go with a slider hitch due to my Ramboxes. Bed rails have about 7.5 inches of clearance. Have not weighed the pin yet but would estimate it to be just shy of 2,000lbs. Truck is pretty level, squats about 1.5 inches.

It can, but not any further down. Due to the setup of my truck, I had to install a Reese Sidewinder. Lowering that any further will not allow it to operate properly.

It sounds like you need a sliding hitch. What kind of bedrail clearance do you have currently? Is your truck level with the trailer attached? What is your loaded pin weight?

I highly suggest weighing your trailer axles. Mainly the rear as you will have WAYYYY more weight on it than you think. Compare that to what your tires are rated for.

I would not worry about 1-2 inches nose-high. At 3 or more, it may add more weight to the rear axle/tires, and take away a little of the front axle braking. You could weigh the axles separately, just to see how much. If not a big difference, and it tows great (no chucking), just leave it, enjoy camping. Many others are towing similar, some even more nose-high.
