Been reading a lot of good stuff about FW's but struggling to find a floor plan to suit our family with 3 kids & keeping it around 30ft.
Forrest river have some floor plans in the Wildcat & Cougar range that suit. Do Forrest river have a good name in FW's? I ask because I'm in Australia & got the opportunity to look through a Cougar at an RV show here & it didn't look or feel very well made.
Is there a reputable manufacturer that has bunk house FW's?
I hear Northwood (Nash & Arctic Fox) are good but no bunk house models that I could find.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same opportunity. Agree about the lack of quality, but the windows and the furnishings made the whole unit look "dark"

3 kids...toy hauler with a garage, make it into the kid's bedroom and enjoy peace and quiet with your significant other LOL
But you'd have to go longer than 30 feet.

Take a look at the Forest River Rockwood 8281SS and 8281WS. Bath and a half, about 32 feet, light, lots of storage -- a nice unit. The WS is a newer plan that has a wardrobe slide in the master that adds some nice storage space. Otherwise the units are the same.

Re Northwoods. They also make the Fox Mountain. But no current production with bunks (older, yes)

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

if you thought the cougar was bad you should save some time and bypass the wildcat. Just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions.
