Believe your talking about the Big Country 3560SS to which we have and want to point out 2 things.
1. You do NOT have to extend the bed slide if things are tight. Still have access to everything in BR area, just may not be as easy if it was out (bed slide).
2. We have NOT encountered any problems extending it out while camping. While it appears to stick out like a sore thumb, I don't think it's much more than the kitchen/ent slide. It's in storage right now and forgot exact measurements. Also, the sites we've been on had decent space between them, so it wasn't a problem.
FWIW, the DW absolutely loves the BR in this coach. In fact, there is enough room at foot of bed (with things fully extended) that a twin size air mattress fits there. Fireplace in BR is awesome on chilly nights as we leave that on and it cycles on/off. Keeps things comfy. Dog/cat don't move off the bed either. WHAT you have to make sure is to have BR door open fully before retracting the slide. If not, major inside wall damage will happen. You will laugh, but we went from a 35' BH with 4 people to this 41'er and 2 people. Initially had a SRW 1 ton but a year later got a DRW. Highly recommend it. Dry weight was 14,000,max is 16,000, pin 3700. Any other questions on this, feel free to ask.
