I am having a problem with my heater. It fires up when I turn it on but then kicks off before it reaches temperature then it try for fire up again but no fire then kicks off and then has to be reset, I'm not sure why it doesn't get spark after the initial start. It's a 1995 Gulfstream seahawk. Thanks

Mine did something similar and I found a huge dirt dauber nest on the burner. Cleaned it and it works great. I have a screen over the exhaust so I don't know how they got in the tube.

Sail switch is as the name implies, has a sail attached to it that senses air movement and shuts the gas flow off if it does not sense air flow.

Thank you Don. I don't have a thermocoupler. But what is a sail switch?

Sail switch or thermalcouple failure.
