Hot water heater problem

Took 5er out for first time this year. Turned electric on for hot water. All was good.

This morning no hot water, light on switch was dark. Tried gas and that light also failed to come on. What do you think happened?

Checked fuses in fuse box and switched them all off and back on. Still no change.

It was a fifteen amp fuse. Had to check them one by one as there were no markings. Replaced it and both electric and gas work now. Thanks for the replies. Never had one of the 15 amp fuses blow before.

If you have a meter remove the switch inside the RV and check if there is any power coming to the switch. Let us know what you find out and we'll go from there.

Propane needs to have 12 volts to operate. could be fuse, ECO or thermostat open.
Looked at drawings for 120 volt element. It appears that Suburban does not link the two systems together, or at least on drawings I looked at.
120 volt AC issue could be lack of shore power to the circuit. What type of service do you have in the rig, 30 or 50 amp? Are you using an adapter to connect to shore power?

It's a suburban water heater.

Red light does not come on inside camper for electric or gas.

Had plenty of hot water last night. Woke up this morning switch light off. And no hot water.

Have reset all circuit breakers. There are a bunch of auto style 15 amp push in fuses above breakers. Have not checked them. None marked as water heater.

If the water was already hot, it wouldn't need to be heated.

Switched fuses? You should test the fuses using a meter or test lamp.
Make and model of water heater?

What brand hot water heater? Only guessing here but not knowing the bran, no hot water using either electric or gas may be the circuit board.
