Hydraulic Pump

My Fuzion 399 was put in storage in the fall and everything was working fine. Tried to work on it this week and find that the slides won't open and the landing gear won't work either. When I push the switch in the control panel to open the slides the solenoid looking thing by the hydraulic pump clicks but nothing happens. The batteries are fully charged. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks all. You were all on the right track but worst news for me. Went to check the Bats (2 deep cell 6 volts) and one was low on water. Went to fill and couldn't seem to get it full! Found out why - water was running out a crack on the end of it. These were brand new and were on charger the whole. The thing that really threw me was that the stupid battery meter in the control panel showed fully charged and so did the panel on the six point leveling system and all other 12 volt stuff was working. Drag them off to CW this weekend and see what warranty looks like. Thanks again.

I had a battery "blow up" in my bass boat. Had it on charge. I guess there was a short in the battery that cause it. Those get bounced around a lot. I ended up replacing with Optima gel batteries. Never another problem. My TT still has the original. When it goes I will replace it with a get type

What kind of charger?
Potable or via converter?

Via converter.......what make/model?
Converter may have overcharged them....boiled the water off
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Most likely got fully discharged and froze cracking the case. A charged battery will not freeze, however a discharged one will. Chris

A click sure sounds like a low battery or bad connection. Did you put a charger on the battery to make sure it is fully charged?
If the battery is fully charged then remove the battery cables and clean the post and inside of the clamps. And check the ground connection for the battery to make sure it is clean and tight.

Put in storage in the fall.......did you have a battery tender during storage?

How did you check battery voltage?

Battery cables connected?

Good battery connection to frame (ground)?

If the pump doesn't run check the connections especially the ground.

Dead battery is the only common denominator.
