JT's Strong Arms

Found JT's Strong Arms on Amazon with Amazon Prime ... beats the local store price, because the store didn't have the 5th wheel over 58" kit in stock.

Then found a new non-prime vendor on Amazon who beat the best price by $15 ... and free shipping! So, essentially the same deal as prime! Yay!

They shipped FAST! Got here in 2 days! Double Yay! Guess what I'm doing tomorrow?

Unpacked the outer box and just had this nagging thought "open carefully" and yep - the box is marked as the Travel Trailer kit. Ah rats! Guess what I'm NOT doing tomorrow?

Anyway, the selling vendor answered my email this evening with an apology for the error - order packaged and shipped by a 3rd party supplier - but they should have an RMA and FedEx shipping label on Monday, and the right kit on the truck as soon as this one is returned. Guess what I (hope) am doing next weekend? Oh wait - camping! Even better - have a couple of mechanics in our camping group that love to help with this kind of stuff!

"Should" come as standard equipment on every 5er IMO. 5er front landing gear seems to have much more side-to-side play than a bumper pull.

Oh sure. Now you tell me! 🙂 Does that include shipping? I got free shipping from the Amazon vendor above.

Just installed similar Steadyfast system on my 5er and am impressed as well. And yes it can be removed and easily moved to another trailer. Its all bolt-on.

They work as advertised and are well worth the costs involved. I helped install a set on a fellows trailer and liked them so much I bought a set for my trailer. Take your time on installing and do it correctly and your trailer will be so solid you won't believe it is the same unit.

If you have a tall, heavy 5th wheel/trailer then they are definitely worth it. They take almost all of the movement. I suppose you could take them off, it would be a matter of unbolting them. I wouldn't think it would be too big of a chore.

So I've read some about these on this forum. Are they really worth the cost? Can you take them off easily if you buy a new camper?

Once you get it and install it, you are going to love it! Best $255 I have spent for my new camper. Don't forget the extra mounting plates (#314597) for the rear if you have the electric stab jacks!
