I ran across this floorplan in my search for the king bed we had to have. Absolutely love the lay out and it was top of the line for Keystone. Good insulation and pretty nicely made for Keystone. Solid cabinetry and lots of upgrades. The name never caught on and they changed it to Alpine in 2009.
This was our Golden Unicorn per sey.... Searched for a year and a half.
Drove to 4 different states to find a good one at a decent price. Finally ended up with one 1300 miles away. Flew up, checked it out, drove up with the truck and took it home.
It was very tough finding one in good shape. Don't know if it was the previous owners?... Most of them we found had badly bent hangers. Couple of them had cracks in the frame above the hangers. A couple had twisted frames and the kitchen was pulled away from the wall. Some with roof cracking and bubbling.
Check for these items mostly, and also frame cracks below the bedroom slide, outside at the L.
We found a peach. it was worth the wait and frustration. Love our coach!
If you are towing with your "06", double check your weight calculations. It is pretty nose heavy, especially with washer/ dryer, clothes, king bed, etc. That's why we changed to our DRW 2007.
Let us know how it turns out. Good luck in your quest. Safe travels!
